T-minus 4 days till the trip begins! I have 4 days left in the U.S. before Dimitar and I go to Tokyo. Still on the list of things to do: buy a backpack (Dimitar, Sanjana and I went to REI earlier in the week to check them out), pick up my passport/visa from the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco, get cash, and pack everything I will need for 8 weeks. Normally the time I have left would be more than enough to get all this done, but the graduation hoopla this weekend means I have to do most of it today. Now, at least, I can check "start a blog" off my list! I'll try to post as frequently as I can to this and add pictures when I'm on the trip, so keep checking.
